make this go on forever [lyrics + chords]

Make This Go On Forever Chords by Snow Patrol, www.Ultimate-Guitar.Com

By Daniel McHugh

This is one of the best songs on new album- i know that its weird (A) going C G F in the
and that Am would seem more appropriate but i listened very closely and A seems better
Am even tho (A) doesn't match the key- tell me what u think

Capo 4

Verse 1

A C
Please don't let this turn into something it's not
G F
I can only give you everything I've got
A C
I can't be as sorry as you think I should
G F
but I still love you more than anyone else could

A C
All that I keep thinking throughout this whole flight
G F
Is 'it could take my whole damn life to make this right'
A C
This splintered mast I'm holding on won't save me long
G F
Because I know fine well that what I did was wrong

Chorus
Am C F G
The last girl in the last reason to make this last for as long as I could
Am C F G
First kiss and the first time that I felt connected to anything
Am C F
The weight of water, the way you taught me to look past everything I had
G
ever learned
Am C F G
The final word in the final sentence you ever uttered to me was love

Verse 2
A C
We have got through so much worse than this before
G F
What's so different this time that you can't ignore?
A C
You say it is much more than just my last mistake
G F
And we should spend some time apart for both our sakes

Chorus
x2

Piano Solo

A

Outro
A
And I don't know where to look
A
My words just break and melt
A
Please just save me from this darkness
A
Please just save me from this darkness

There seems 2 be change in chord in outro but piano stays at a constant (A) i think so
what you sing to if your singing along- mite be slight variations in outro and piano solo
me what you think

cleaning day part 2

today, after a breakfast of coffee with leftover pizza, i cleaned up the computer table, the PC, and its wires. wiped the floor. rewound the wires. installed the other drivers...(digicams, printers, webcams, etc)

i feel a bit weird... its like im running a fever but i'm not...i feel warm and yet a bit cold. my ears feel funny. actually i have been feeling fuzzy over the past few days. it seems like im getting more of my share of fuzziness and i'm not used to it....i'm not sure if it's doing me good. but its probably something i have to get used to after not feeling this certain state for a long time...

recently seen in VLC: となりのトトロ, Tonari no Totoro

Tonari no Totoro or My Neighbor Totoro is an anime about two girls meeting a forest troll. It is a funny, amusing, heartfelt movie that almost has no sense, but with a storyline perfect for little kids. and as well as the grown-ups with hearts like children.

Nothing can light up a face more than seeing the big forest troll, as well as its two companions. who can fulfill the dreams and little desire of kids. Kids who are just so lively, playful with very magical imaginations. It's one of those feel good movies that just makes you want to smile and remember a nice childhood experience.

do not forget to sing along on the first opening song... :)

and just to spite MMFF, this movie is so much better than that Karma thing :|

last seen: matakot ka sa karma (be afraid of karma) [mega spoilers]

Today, a bunch of officmates, he and i watched an MMFF film. Jose Javier Reyes' Matakot Ka Sa Karma. All i can say until the end of the movie was a WTF?

I'm almost desperately trying to connect the title to the movie...nothing. Not one single connection related to Karma. I don't particularly get it. I don't know if the movie is that deep or i'm just too shallow not to understand the whole plot....

here comes my analysis.

Kama - Here is Aleli (Gretchen Baretto (check my spelling pl0x)) who is not a big fan of antiques buys a canopy bed from the Antique Seller (i'm bad with names...) because it was cheap. now a ghost suddenly haunts their house. Aleli now is having dreams of a woman holding hands with her child walking on the road, a miscarraige. Now a lonely ghost looking for her child, and takes hers away. And the dream sequence was made into reality. Is that the supposed karma? Probably.

Aparador - Husband and Wife receives an antique cabinet from the Interior Designer from the same seller. Now it rattles and shakes and gives whispers that shook everybody in the house. Their weird neighbor Mrs. Santiago comes over and feels the presence of a child inside the cabinet hiding. Who was locked there because of deformity, and from the shame of a father who felt utmost hatred for him.
Brother of Wife was taken by the child inside. was missing for 24 hours and his car keys was found inside the cabinet. Once again. The closed cabinet rattled and shaked. Husband opens the cabinet door to let the spirit out...they felt relieved , but it too, also took the wife.
where is the karma again?

Tokador - Newly moved girl receives a vanity table from supposed suitor (also from the same seller). It contained an antique jewelry box with a necklace with a picture of a woman (who looks like the woman in Kama) Now she has a mysterious man trailing her. She gets creeped out, gives the necklace to friend, who disappeared, and necklace was returned to the vanity. Guy gets the necklace disappears and the phantom man gives the necklace back to the supposed actual owner (the girl) and turns into the devil and traps her in the vanity.

ending was a girl who found the vanity in the antique store, finds the necklace and now it contains the girl who was last caught by the man.

I don't get it at all... I swear...

cleaning up...

i woke up today determined to clean out my side of the room. so me still in pjs started to tear apart my share of the space.

i started with my desk. which held two file holders for a bunch of stuff. i took everything out and sifted through it. thesis papers from college, property listings, old newspaper/menagerie clippings, piano sheets, guitar tabs, random bric-a-brac, used diskettes, dusty old books like
Technical Drafting and A Guide To Windows 95 Programming, a bunch of other stuff. Winry (roel's external HD) was also there plus a bunch of random chords and adapters so i transfered them to the table where the old PC and Wilson was resting.

I managed to reduce 50% of crap and turned one of the file holders into my toiletries kit. after disinfecting it. keke.

here is the semi uncluttered desk. it looks better, there are no before pics. but i assure you. it looked like crap. everything was everywhere. there's the blue file holder which used to hold a bunch of random papers and notes, i changed it to hold all my girly regimen things like acetone moisturizer and other things that baffle the minds of men. LOL

after the cleanup went below and hauled the two boxes filled with even more stuff
box #1 held a bunch of papers, quizzes, notes and whatnots from my highschool->college days.

here's my entrance exam results for UST. I was wait-listed for IT and passed for Journalism. With that my future held a crossroad. Both dream courses are lined out for me. All I have to do now is choose. (Journ in USTe and BSCS in DLSU)

I'd rather be green i guess. :) plus in those times. Computer Science was 1337.

which brings me to a bunch of other memorabilia from DLSU... take a look at my first EAF...

18 units, CMPRG1 (Computer Programming1 in C), ALTRIG1 (Algebra and Trigonometry 1), INTROSO (Introduction to Sociology), BASICON (Basic Computer Concepts), Orient1 (?), RELSONE (Religion 1), and PEONEPF (PE 1 Physical Fitness). It even has that faulty barcode where I had to wave furiously at the also faulty scanner and getting jeered at by the upperclassmen >_<.

thats my course card from my WEBDEVE course. :) 2.5 From the yummy Sir Allan. :D...i remembered kenneth, nicky and me used to stay after class to talk with Sir about warcraft and hacking and stuff :) oops ^_^;;

one of my proudest moments in school was probably the ASEPROJ subject. we got best project and a 4.0 in the course for our 5ive Sequence Diagram Editor. I had the most awesome members Bev, Rici, Ben and Miwa.

my first DLSU ID , its a classic since we are prolly the last batch with the hologram of the school in the ID's background. see how tattered that ID is. I lost that ID then i had a new one made which is the one in my wallet right now, then i found this... so i have two IDs :)

one of my other prouder moments was I never failed the dreaded ANMATH series. I happen to like Math, and I was very okay with it. It's kinda sad now I look at the problems and a little 'WTF' bubble is now in my head. here's the first quiz of Anmath2... about opposite of derivatives what was the...oh yeah, integrals :D I remember I did an 80 something on this quiz...

anyway, the current state of the room now is...like a tornado disaster. i had move around alot of bags and the luggage to get the boxes.
that's the aisle that separates my and my sister's bed. now its cluttered with everything. bags, papers, envelops, folders...and that orange toolbox which is not tools, but my sister's art supplies...

see? so much crap. hehehe...

that's me and my 'Komatta na!(OMG)' moment i was trapped in a pile of crap

so after sifting box # 1, i went to box # 2 i found my boxes and boxes of letters and pictures
they're all way back in High School I even saw my old prom pictures yikes! and the intersection basketball games, the different high school committees, you can say my last high school year was pretty much documented because I was in the yearbook committee...

the next few parts weren't documented anymore since my older sister barged in and started taking things from the cabinet and throwing them out. i was planning on saving the cabinets on a later date but since she already tossed everything out, i had no choice but to fix them up as well...so my whole day was concentrated on fixing our room.

this is my sister frolicking among the mess. the powers of older siblings are amazing. she was the one tossing everything out, then she ordered me to place everything back. :| and at first i was cleaning the room, and now she's ordering me to clean up even more zomgz. older siblings are 1337.
not to mention when she does this face its scary as hell. o_O

anyway, the cleaning fest was almost over and here's the final look. sister and i have to find boxes and containers for the cluttered stuff. we even used the new sheets already. the blue and white checkered bed is mine.

if you look closely at the desk, those are my bath stuffs. i had a long shower after the cleanup. i look like some dirty hobo who was rolling around in filth. my feet looked as if i was running around in the mud and my hands are grubby like a little boy who was off playing outside. there's a) Pond's Advanced Acne Facial Wash. b) Sunsilk Strong Ends with Lemon and Kiwi extract b) Sarah Michaels Jasmine and Waterlily bath wash. and d) Watson's Lavender Foot Scrub.

yes, I'm actually a girl :p

you can actually see the floor now :)...

and as a reward, I had a starbucks frapuccino in a bottle...Now, I'm off to bed. Good night. :P
oyasuminasai minnasan. :D

well that's about sums up my presents.

recently seen in VLC : My Sassy Girl [spoilers]

scratch out that part where windstruck is the actual prequel to my sassy girl. the transition may have been correct, but parts of the story is already on it's own form and shape. mr. big was probably right about windstruck being a spirit predecessor instead.

anyways, i love this movie better than windstruck. it's not as sappy, but it got me more. it's probably on the more lighter part. what i loved was the pure and sweet understanding of gyun-woo on her part. the 10 rules was f*cking amazing. come on, no guy can actually come up with that. although he was a bit rude and a bit weird looking, his devotion was impeccable. and the freaky resemblance to an officemate kind of thawed out the romantic sorts of the movie. as pointed out by mr. big. bah.

next movie... its gonna be a long christmas day.

now showing on VLC : windstruck [ with spoilers]

windstruck (2004) was the usual sappy movie. although I warned on the title that this post will have spoilers, i am particularly sure that i'm one of the last people on earth to have actually watched this movie.

it was as lighthearted as My Sassy Girl as first, more humor, then suddenly it was becoming more tragic than the tsunamis in thailand. It was almost predictable the way he died. and how everything was arranged. *yawn* it was damn tragic, but it was just as i thought.

don't get me wrong. i'm not a damn granite. sure i was teary eyed for some parts. but i think i bawled pretty more in My Sassy Girl. which i think i will be watching later since it was such a nice prequel to it. :)

Despite the horrific events, i'm glad that it had some lightheartedness in the end. Although I was seriously contemplating that she also just die along with him. Just so it gets the total Romeo and Juliet scene ...

hehe

hello, hello, there's a place called vertigo

christmas eve and the usual traditions of going over to the grandma's house + our rich aunt in greenhills west.

it was a sunday, so aside from that, we had the usual mass and the lunch at powerplant (kulinarya). it gave me time to shop for last minute gifts to my godmothers which i settled for a mug/tumbler + a bag of tazo teas.

i also got myself a rainbow optical mouse. i wanted to call it a funky mouse since it emits random colors like a psychedelic lava lamp. it gives a wonderful eerie looking glow and it continously shifts colors :) fun, and it would annoy your cubemate like hell :P

anyway the little boy was able to download me the tonari no totoro movie *gives truckloads of e-cookies for his sweetness*.

besides the fact i'm already working, keke, i still got some moolah from a bunch of aunts. they rock my socks. i got in a grand total of 5.6k...where the 5k would be locked safe in the bank. just to compensate my weird spend state.

meanwhile i'm keeping to these resolutions. spend less, eat less, swim more, run more, save more :) had 2 shares for the savers club at the office will be getting that money(around 20k) come november :) and by june, i should be off debt since wilson will be 100% owned and paid by me. w00t. and i could concentrate on paying of the rest of my credit card bills, which i won't be using for a while its cash from now on baby....no cash no buy...no credit for me.

i remember at mass, when the priest asked everybody who wanted to be bless to go up front. for a long time i was never graced by the water. so i told Him.
Lord, if this really was the right one...grace me...for once...
i stood there, with my right hand up and the priest took his pail of holy water and his sprinkler and shook the water to the people...

i felt the spray on my face my hair my arms and down to my legs as i was already leaving...

are you blessing me now....i really hope so...

lunch date hot seaters

on the last day of work, jun05 had a last day lunch out at Pancake house. Due to the sudden swing of events from what happened on the day before this lunch date had batchmate # 4 earn a place on the hot seat

batchmate #5 who had the 3 piece panchicken was targeted earlier for her old prospect that went kapoot. she finally admitted that it was a long ago thing.

of course, batchmate # 4 who had the sunrise steak with his 'situation' from long ago. was now in the open. we all congratulated in his bravado to finally admit it.

batchmate # 7 who had the mix and match combo had certain problems of not seeing the future. more information was pressed, but no result came with it.

batchmate # 2 who also had the sunrise steak had an admirer from afar. although they have seen each other before in some sunny beach last may :D

batchmate # 1 who also had a mix and match combo doesn't see a particular someone as friends, he/she just hopes that she/he doesn't put perfume to entice him/her ;)

batchmate # 3 who will be joining later was trying to be linked to batchmate # 5 if batchmate # 4 and 5 won't work :))

batchmate # 6 who had sunrise steak seems to be perfectly relationship content. the significant other will be out for a moment to visit the hometown.

it was funny. although time was short and we had to end the conversations...

yule rock @ NSP (last saturday)

just last weekend, i was just preparing for the christmas party, i took a whole day leave to get prepared. at 10 am i was already at rockwell, had a manicure, made them paint my nails a deep wine red, threaded my eyebrows and met him.

we had an appointment at this korean hair stylist. for once in his life he'd get his long straight hair cut in a funky style, and my untouched/unchemicaled (?) one into a straight fest.

what were we thinking? haha

my hair took 3 frickin hours. soaking and rinsing and setting and all that. i was squirming in my seat and he was laughing because i looked like a kid trapped in time-out.

here was the result...

everybody was surprised with his new look. i was proud of him. hehe...

anyway we hosted the show. and it was better than last year. last year was just...meh. i had a guest so my movements were limited.

i won in the raffle a bottle of sparkling red wine. he won a starbucks tumbler.

here are a couple of other pics from the party.

here's cheann gloi me and frank. cheann looked nice that day we all sported different hand gestures. cheann and gloi in mirror 'rock on' gestures. i did the peace sign and frank the west coast rap hand sign. funky.

here's the band! Bentarattarat composed of ben/bert/karlou/eds/cheann/melissa on vocals, km and jeff on guitars, dino on bass, toffer on trumpet, and jecal on drums. they rocked the house down :)
my favorite people in the office :). nuff said.

this is my project team. we're missing two people though. plus the old members. we look like rockers here :D

here's one of the last group pics post party time. everybody seems to be going home already.

it was fun. after that we went to makati prime. kick backed had a few rounds of moo moo with the guys and slept.

start of vacation.

i start the vacation with a new post. and a new blog. my old blogger is something to be treasured and something to be looked at and laugh. the other one is mainly poems so i don't want to add random stuff so hence, not poems. another wastefulspace installment of the x number of blogs posted around the internet.

and so, the office term for the year has come to and end. for once, well on my second christmas at the company, i didn't write notes. it's not that i didn't want to, i already got a stack of paper from the pile. but i couldn't find my nice pen. i was just being lazy. and the postboxes are too far. they're at the newly renovated office way on the other side. but i'll try and write to them over the break. because i already didn't even give presents. might as well give them something nice to read :).

it's been over a year. a year that has passed from the violence and chaotic world. it's like the little ornament glass balls that you shake and the snow fell. it seems as if for a year a blizzard was happening on my life. i wonder if i can safely say that the snow is settling down....

i feel like i have grown a lot from the couple of months. the 2 month cebu trip did a lot. to taste that little feeling of independence was so fun. to be able to look around without a leash on my neck. to be able to go home at whatever time i please. to follow my own rules and to go through life at my own time, without doing anything wrong. just all the things i want. coffee. go to the mall. have a nice dinner outside. to be with friends. to hang at the beach. I love it.

i come back here feeling so caged. it was surreal and even bizarre. i wanted to be my own person.

i have stepped into a lot of shithoes. i keep liking all the wrong people. Insert all males here who have temporarily addled/muddled my brains. i thank them for making me smarter now. harhar.

to all the sneaking around, rendezvous during the early parts of the year. it was almost like a hazy dream. the things i could do was almost terrifying.

to my spending attack, i should lay low and stop visiting malls. harhar. they are evil, evil things.

to newfound friends, my cebu room mate who became my drinking partner, who doesn't mind my smoking, my spur of the moment food trip partner. she's so cool. sometimes it's weird how we are both in the same wavelength. it's both funny and surprising. to m9dhatter. who was my coffee partner since last year, he may be weirdly すけべ, but we are the sharks... i just get away with being one most of the time :p. to my smoking buddies whom i will not be joining anymore :P my projectmates whom i have bonded during the Cebu Bt trip, to my anii who is also everybody's superman, to my dota mentor/coffee buddy....you all helped build me into becoming something better.

to friends who i've lost and found again. the particular suddenly emailed during his recent BT to HK. and now we are on speaking terms again. and i received a gc from him for starbucks...

to my batchmates who has seen me in various states of happiness, distress, and failures. i love them.

lastly, to the little boy who has been with me for so long. twins of the heart. one of my best friends, my officemate, we sit next to each other with almost matching flipflaps and our same surnames that always gives us an inquiry whether we are siblings. which i always answer in disdain 'we're married' :P. i'm glad he found what he was looking for... i ♥ you

and so here we start another saga. more things to write about, more stuff to learn, more things to discover, and probably a new job as well hahaha. j/k
